I bought this book to help me grow my own garden when I moved into the apartment. I was looking to be more sustainable as a person and this was definitely a good read to help me figure out how to achieve that.

"How To Grow More Vegetables" is just what this new home owner needed and just in time for Spring. We are just weeks away from moving into a home that has never had a garden and is nothing but bare dirt in the back yard. Starting our garden this year in containers is just what the doctor ordered. We can start the garden now and take it with us when we move. It may be quite some time before we can get the ground ready for a garden in the soil. Like next year. I recommend this book to anyone starting a garden for the first time.

About the Author
Ingeman Arbnor (1949) is a Swedish economist, Professor at the Lund University, Lund, known for his international bestseller "Methodology for Creating Business Knowledge" written with Bj�rn Bjerke. Ingeman Arbnor was born in Sweden in 1949, and studied Economics at the Lund University. A few years, later Arbnor was appointed to his first professorial position at the Lund University. Bj�rn Bjerke supervised the final phase of Arbnor’s doctoral work and a deep professional relation developed, resulting in their becoming coauthors. It is out of this relationship that "Methodology for Creating Business Knowledge" was born and developed. His dissertation containing what is now considered classic methodological reorientations.[1] Arbnor further worked as an entrepreneur in the field of establishing a running business training and development centers in cooperation with multinational corporations in Sweden. Among other business accomplishments, he has started a trading house, a Venture Competence Invest, and an academy for venture management education.[1] Since the 1990s, he has been a member of the expert group to the Swedish Association of Graduates in Business Administration and Economics.

Bj�rn Bjerke was born in Sweden and got educated to PhD level at Lund University.

His research, lecturing and business consulting experience spans four decades and as many continents. Bj�rn has held professorships at the Waikato University in New Zealand, the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia, University of Maiduguri in Nigeria, the University of Southern California and a Senior Fellowship at the National University of Singapore in Singapore.

Back in Sweden Bjerke worked for a while at the Malm� University College before going to Stockholm. At Stockholm University Bjerke has led a research group in entrepreneurship consisting of 15 junior researchers.[1] Since 2007 he is working at the Baltic Business School at the Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden.

An excellent book on methodology

I am happy that the third edition of this excellent book is out. This new edition contains several new cases, new and excellent figures, an appendix (which in itself is a good summary of theories of science of relevance here), a glossary, a list of suggested further readings, and furthermore the book has got it's own website for business knowledge. I will be happy to use the book in my progress as knowledge creator.

There are better alternatives

This was a required textbook for a course that I recentely took. The context is very abstract and difficult to understand. It's about high-level abstraction of three knowledge-creation methodologies: actor, system, and analytic approach. Most students were lost in its content including myself. Even the school is considering using another one in the future. Save your money if you are trying to learn how to do research. You'll have better luck on research methods by going with books written by Cooper and Schindler, Robson, or Crewell.

Dammit Kassana has done it again, and I am Estatic!

Damn Ms. Dwight Did it Again!

One of things about Authors who have become seasoned writers is that sometimes more often than not you can recognize the formula of a book and predict the outcome and/or how the storyline is going to go. Just like her previous books, this story does NOT suffer from that symptom! The story about Jin Woo and Anjula is really really good. Having a story with with a sexy Asian hero and Black female character (even though she had the damn green/hazel eyes, she was still a chocolate goddess) is rare to find in the IR genre and I wish more writers would tackle those parings. Jin Woo is not the whimpy nerdy Asian stereotype but the hot martial expert rebel of an esteemed Korean family. Anjula is not a round away girl but a professional child psychologist (thank you for writing positive role models and not ex strippers/round the way girls with golden hearts blah blah blah). Their meeting is realistic and explosive and they when they finally come together, Kassanna has given the story more than enough time to develop for those of you women who are still shy about a heroine giving up the goodies too quickly. (weird since I know most of the readers of this genre have children so they are not nuns or virgins, just saying. There is the nutter ex and some type of intrigue that coming. Yes coming, because this story is a cliffhanger! BUT, STAY WITH ME and this is why this book got one of my RARE 5 star reviews, Kassanna has written the PERFECT cliffhanger where even if she does not write the second part in year, ( I hope not) you are left feeling like this is a standalone book! There is no stupid someone leaves and you don't know where they have gone ending. There is no hero and heroine are separated at the end of the book crap, Its a well written story, with excellent funny supporting characters and mystery that makes you want more. I hope she doesn't wait too long for part 2. I think you will find this book enjoyable, compelling, the characters will mean something to you and you will want to maybe try a little Asian Persuasion for yourself. RECOMMENDED.

Sweet Heavens!!!

Kassanna has taken things to another level with Asian Persuasion! Gripping from the first page until I read those dreaded words "The End."

Choi Jin Woo is a dangerous man and one not to be trifled with. Annual Matthews is a strong and charismatic woman that does not suffer fools well. I love Bai Lin and Jay and how they support their friends and their commitment to being ride or die peeps. Whomever this fool is that's threatening Anjula and Jin just might windup dead. I have a feeling it might not be who we think not is.

I normally don't like cliffhangers but this one ended well and ok am fully engaged and intrigued. I can't wait for the sequel.

I liked the storyline of this book. I enjoyed the characters but it wasn't the best book I've read. There were many spelling and grammatical errors. It was almost as though no one proofread it. I also am not a fan of cliffhangers. If you are interested in finding out what happens next, you must get another book. I'm not sure if I'll continue to follow this series.

Richard G. Lipsey is Professor Emeritus and Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Advanced Research, Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, Canada. He is the author or co-author of a number of widely acclaimed textbooks that sell throughout the world. K. Alec Chrystal is Professor of Monetary Economics at City University Business School, London. Currently in a graduate nurse anesthesia program (graduating in six months) -- I would say this pediatric guide is spot on with what we learned in didactic and what we practice in clinical; it matches up great with current guidelines and dosing and is very handy for quick referencing. I would definitely recommended this purchase to aid in your pediatric assessment and care, especially if you are new to pediatrics or do not provide their care on a regular basis.

Great to keep on top of anesthesia cart during Peds cases.

Excellent pocket reference! I am an experienced CRNA and use this book regularly. It's a great tool to have if you care for Peds patients routinely or not. I like to keep the book out on my anesthesia cart opened to the kilograms for current patient I'm caring for. For two reasons, one a good reference for me and two, if an emergency happens and I call for help (the help my not routinely take care of peds patients) they can use the book too and safely help out.

About the Author
James Ashcroft is a former British Infantry Captain who served in West Belfast and Yugoslavia, and trained with various elite U.S. Army and Marine Units. He worked as a private security contractor in Iraq from 2003 to 2005, and is now�a security and risk consultant to multi-national clients. He is the author of Making A Killing.

Taking Care of Friends

This is the sequel to "Making A Killing" in which Ash and some of his contractor buddies return to Baghdad to help their interpreter "Sammy".Sammy has been put on a Shia death list and must leave the city with his family.I will leave it at that so that I do not give away anything in the book. Trust me, you will enjoy the hell out of this sequel.
Along the way, we are reintroduced to Colonel "Mad Dog" McQueen and his assistant Tanya.This book has all of the action and then some that MAK had.You will also read about an ambush in which Col. McQueen participated in and should have been awarded the Medal of Honor or at least the DSC because of his heroism.
I would like to compliment CPT Ashcroft because he took the royalties from the first book and donated them to Sammy and his family. This is a must read for anyone who has an interest in current military affairs or just want a damn good read.

A Solid Sequel

A very good sequel, this story is focused on Ash and some of his Spartan colleagues returning to Baghdad to assist Sammy (if you don't know then I advise you to read the first book, "Making a Killing:). This account, like that in MAK, vividly depicts Baghdad as it is today and why, despite things "improving," a lot of work needs to be done. Ironically, after reading this book, a friend recently returned from a tour in Iraq was discussing the Sunni "Awakening" and the problems it's caused; I was the only one to understand some of these issues because of this book, and upon describing some details, was informed that Escape from Baghdad relates some very accurate information in its telling. A great story that is worth telling, insightful and in between the moments that rivet you you might find yourself laughing at some of the interactions, as well.

Courage at its Finest

James Ashcroft, and some of his Spartan team mates from Making a Killing, return to Iraq to escort Sammy, their interpreter (and friend), and his family safely to Jordan.

This read has plenty of action and suspence, from a car chase, to fire fights, and eluding corrupt Iragi Police. This book was hard to put down.

Ash and his team mates are professionals who put their lives on the line, not for financial gain, but for a friend in need. Great read!
